7/20/25 – How did we get here and why would a middle aged mother of 2 and new grandmother of 1 think she has something worth sharing? I have a rather eclectic past and probably a couple of lifetimes worth of experience navigating this crazy, chaotic world and God has been giving me a nudge, a “knowing” for quite some time that He would like me write about them. I have learned that whenever He wants me to do something, the more I resist, the stronger the Spirit speaks to me, with urgency. I have also learned that when God asks for you to step out and do something, He will never ask you to do more than He can support and when I DO what He’s asking, it leads to massive GROWTH in my relationship with Him and within my own life. IE: Growth Unlocked. Have you ever felt that nudge, that “knowing”? I recently attended “Faith” night at my boxing gym (yes, you read that right) and was privileged to hear a speaker speaking on just this topic. His theme of the night was “Do It Afraid” and, among other things, he taught on following God and answering that nudge even when we think God must be crazy….”I don’t have the time, I don’t have the resources, I can’t afford it or what if nobody likes it (or my idea or platform)?” It was like a lightning bolt to me and, yet another, clear message that I had been sitting on a gift he’d given me to write, for quite some time, failing to trust and commit to the free fall into His plans. I’ll address that “Free Fall” in a later post but, for now, it’s exactly as it sounds…trust Him, He will never bring you to something that is His idea and not provide, whether that’s time, money, or even words! When you unlock your growth, the potential is limitless to developing your relationship with Him, with others and within yourself!
